Location Coordinator Overview
As the Location Coordinator, you will assist in location operations as assigned. This position is essential to ensure billing and claims are managed efficiently, and all warehouse operations are accurately documented and updated in a timely manner. The cornerstone of UST’s growth and success is built upon the expectation that EVERY team member will Execute Excellence Every time - simply known internally as E3.
Pay: $19 - $20 per hour
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Responsibilities
(include, but are not limited to)
- Assists the manager with delivery load out to ensure merchandise is handled in E3 manner
- Conducts daily CSAT breakdown
- Consolidates freight orders into truckloads for specific destinations
- Keeps all necessary systems and documents updated with the previous days’ operations
- Maintains all billing, auditing, balance sheets, and settlements records
- Maintains radio and phone contact with trucks, receives and dispatches aid in response to any emergency needs for assistance or repairs
- Manages merchandise claims and keeps them updated
- Records and allocates all requests for delivery and pickup within established territories among the available drivers including changes needed from the previous day
- Selects vehicle route for efficient movement and prepares pickup and delivery schedules
Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally
- Ability to work a schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- Higher education and/or equivalent experience, preferably in the transportation industry
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Valid Driver’s License
