You Are
UST® is looking for a DevOps Architect who can work with customer team to assess, design and manage the end-to-end project deliverables from DevSecOps and SRE point of views. The candidate must possess excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with the stakeholders at both UST and client site.

Compensation Range: $112,000-$168,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

You Are
UST® is looking for a DevOps Architect who can work with customer team to assess, design and manage the end-to-end project deliverables from DevSecOps and SRE point of views. The Opportunity
- Work with development and QA teams to ensure maximum performance, reliability and automation of application deployments and infrastructure.
- Design, develop and implement software for deployment automation and packaging and monitoring visibility.
- Identify tasks and areas where automation can be applied to achieve time efficiencies and risk reduction.
- Debug and troubleshoot service bottlenecks throughout the whole software stack.
- Monitor availability, usage, and overall system health.
- Provide on demand support to engineering team.
What You Need
- 10-15 years of overall experience
- 5 years of implementation experience in DevOps tools, SRE practices and infrastructure.
- Experience architecting CI/CD workflows and tools, such as Azure DevOps.
- Architectural leadership experience with microservices and distributed applications
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices.
- Experience architecting, designing, and developing applications on Azure Cloud.
- Experience with managed Kubernetes service such as AKS.
- Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing and horizontal scalability.
- Experience working directly with partners, product development team or third-party developers.
