You Are
The Scientist will support the re-formulation and manufacturability activity for a portfolio of consumer personal care products. This is largely a documentation role, but we are looking for candidates with a background in formulation of Skin Health and Hair Care personal care products.

Role Location: New Jersey
Compensation Range: $70,000-$106,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

You Are
The Scientist will support the re-formulation and manufacturability activity for a portfolio of consumer personal care products. This is largely a documentation role, but we are looking for candidates with a background in formulation of Skin Health and Hair Care personal care products.
The Opportunity
- Managing the documentation associated with newly reformulated Skin Health and Hair Care products pertaining to the Approval for Product Release.
- Write Change Control and other technical documents
- Manage Documentation and follow up with cross functional partners for any information required
- Manage the timely delivery of pertinent docs being completed by other cross functional partners
- The primary role will be to manage APR and change control documentation, however there may be some time in the lab to help batching of reformulated products
- cGMP lab notebook documentation
- Working closely with support functions such as Analytical, Micro, QA and Pilot Plant
What You Need
- Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or other related science with 0-3 years experience.
- The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Formulation or cosmetic experience is preferred.
- The individual must be eager to learn and must pay attention to detail.
