You Are
UST is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Full Stack JavaScript Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both the front-end and back-end components of our web applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant solutions. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and shape the future of our product using cutting-edge technologies like Vue.js, MongoDB, Node.js, and RESTful APIs.

Compensation Range: $62,000-$95,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

The Opportunity
- Develop and implement user interfaces and interactive web applications using Vue.js.
- Design and implement database schemas and data models using MongoDB.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient RESTful APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our development processes and tools.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 4 years of software development experience.
- 2 years of full-stack development experience.
- Proven experience with JavaScript, Vue.js and MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of front-end and back-end development principles.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Experience with unit testing and integration testing.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
