You Are

A Sales Executive, supporting the Product Engineering Services BU, identifying sales opportunities through prospecting, lead follow up, networking and partner relationships.

The Opportunity

  • Analyze key markets to identify target integration partners and build a pipeline of new strategic integration partners.
  • Manage sales process through qualification, needs analysis, demonstration, negotiation, and close.
  • Prepare business proposals, collateral, presentations, brochures, case studies, agreements, and quotes to build a value proposition for the customer.
  • Validate proposals and solutions deliverables with due diligence.
  • Document daily sales activities in tool, prepare accurate reports and forecasts, manage pipeline, and perform other tasks necessary to drive sales revenue and communicate activities to senior management.
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with leaders from demand generation, sales, pre-sales, and account management to have the business updates and to be on top of our potential capabilities. This would give an edge to the sales pitch to ensure alignment and to optimize demand generation activities/campaigns.
  • Leverage vast relationships to create new direct sales opportunities.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales goals through self-motivation, goal setting and solution-driven approaches to problem solving.
  • Demonstrate high levels of professionalism and leadership by being diligent, thorough, and making a positive impact during every sales engagement.

You Will Need

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 10 years of successful B2B sales experience with an emphasis on acquiring new customers/leveraging partner relationships.
  • Experience in “IT Software Services/Product sales” for mid-size organizations is a MUST. Our target companies would be typically US based companies, Software Product Companies working on high tech/ high end applications/e Commerce using technologies such as Java/Microsoft/ ERP/Accounting, CRM, and Software-as-a-Service/Cloud Computing business applications.
  • A thorough understanding of the bid management process and proposal lifecycle.
  • Experience selling to “CXO” and “V” level Executives.
  • Prior experience in handling and managing RFI/RFP responses, and asking relevant questions to contribute to preparing the solution, would be preferred.
  • A passion for demand generation and outbound prospecting with a deep understanding of outbound sales prospecting and buyer insights across segments (Enterprise and Mid-Market) to build a successful outbound program.
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic and operational recommendations based on data; to be data-driven, leading the business through, KPIs, trends, and data insight; to translate data into action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Experience leading, supporting, or collaborating closely with a large, dynamic, inside sales team with revenue responsibilities.
  • Great communication and impeccable presentation skills —positive and energetic, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills, and a team player who puts the company first.
  • Must be open to travel to various prospects’ offices for meetings, events, and trainings

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience.  As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City, or Washington as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote (East Coast preferred)

Compensation Range: $135,000-203,000
