UST is searching for a Senior Cloud Engineer who will interpret the application, feature, and component designs to develop the same in accordance with specifications.
The Opportunity
What You Need
Role Location: Remote
Compensation Range: $95,000-$143,750
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

You Are
UST is searching for a Senior Cloud Engineer who will interpret the application, feature, and component designs to develop the same in accordance with specifications.
The Opportunity
- Code, debug, test, document and communicate product, component, and feature development stages.
- Validate results with user representatives, integrating and commissions the overall solution.
- Select and create appropriate technical options for development such as reusing, improving or reconfiguration of existing components while creating own solutions for new contexts.
- Optimizes efficiency, cost, and quality.
What You Need
- Python, Java for serverless computing - Lambda function, API/API Gateway, Glue jobs, automation
- Nice to Have: 1 or 2 for the senior skills is required from the below list.
- Containerization - (Nice to have) –
- Experience with Docker(building & deploying)
- Experience with ECS (Configuration & Orchestration)
- Experience with AWS Fargate & AWS Batch a plus
- AWS Security - (Nice to have)
- Proficient in Typescript or Python
- Experience in AWS CDK
- AWS Cloud Hands-on Engineering Experience
