We are seeking Seasonal Ticket Office Client Services Representatives who play an essential role in the US Open guest experience.
The Role
To provide customer service and enhance the USTA's image by following customer service policies and procedures
- Respond to general customer inquiries, invoice questions, and customer complaints by phone, email and chat in a prompt, efficient, and professional manner
- Respond to inquiries by researching and resolving problems related to transactions handled by the Ticket Office
- Provide all guests with ticket access info, plan information, and mobile delivery
- Skillfully interact with fans of the US Open and USTA Staff to provide a positive experience
- Assist Ticket Staff with various projects. Projects may include:
- tracking and reporting of ticket sales and/or availability
- shipping through FedEx shipping system
- price checking
- Other duties as assigned
Who You Are
- Available to work for the full duration of the US Open tournament
- Must be able to work 12 hour shifts and be available days, nights and weekends
- Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently and computer proficient to access/updatecustomer records
- Working knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Maintain a positive, outgoing demeanor, adhering to the core expectations of our team at alltimes and possess ability to work as part of a team and get along with coworkers
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment and during stressfulsituations
- Arrive for shift on time, neatly groomed, and in a clean, pressed, well-maintained uniform
- Willing and comfortable working part of daily shift outdoors in various weather conditions inlate August/early September
- Personable and proactive in providing assistance to all guests with the highest level ofcustomer service
- Excellent communication skills with thorough understanding of written and spoken English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a ticket office for major sporting event, team or venue
- Previous experience working in hospitality, sales or in a call center
- Bilingual is a plus, but not necessary
- Knowledge of ZenDesk, Ticketmaster Archtics (or similar ticketing system)

Compensation: This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $18.00.
