Shipper

Duties:

• Responsible for performing all tasks involved in the receiving and shipment of instruments, components, and parts.
• Accurately completes IFS and Novacura transactions for shipping and receiving. · Prepares and maintains related documentation.
• Requests or retrieves necessary items from inventory per order instructions and delivery schedules.
• Performs crating of items for shipment per work instructions and checklists. · Posts weight and dimensions.
• Operates forklift and conducts daily safety inspection.
• Monitors all shipping supplies and initiates timely replenishment through the purchasing department.
• Assists other areas as needed particularly material handling.
• Receives and inspects incoming components, parts, and supplies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience
• Ability to work independently in verifying accuracy using check sheets and technical documents.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Able to use common hand tools.
• Computer experience required.
• Able to use a forklift.
• Requires extensive standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting.

Please note: This position is a permanent budgeted full-time position on our staff. However, during your initial 6 months orientation period you may be employed through an employment agency until the successful completion of your orientation.
