PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Repairing, maintaining and improving industrial machinery, special assembly machines, brazing, tig welding, spot welding and other production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Perform timely repairs and replacements to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- Perform routine inspections and scheduled maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery to ensure they are functioning at peak performance.
- Monitor the performance of machinery and equipment in real time, identifying potential issues before they lead to downtime.
- Document maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and machine downtimes in detail.
- Ensure that machines and equipment meet operational and quality specifications. Conduct tests to verify proper functioning.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance activities.
- All other duties assigned by management.
SECONDARY DUTIES:
- Ability to operate all production equipment, including additional support equipment such as cranes, forklifts etc.
- Collaborate with production, quality and engineering teams to address technical issues and improve equipment reliability.
- Assist with the installation/removal of equipment and setup of new machinery and equipment.
- Attend any required supervisor meetings.
- Welding.
- 4S.
- Participate in training and development programs to stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
- Ability to Work as a Team Member in Team Oriented Environment.
QUALIFICATIONS (including educational requirements):
- Associates degree in a technical discipline, a plus or ETA, NCCER Certification or Electro Mechanical PLC Technician Certification necessary or equivalent experience in Usui International Corporation.
- 3 years of experience with electrical/mechanical troubleshooting at the component level
- 3 years of experience working on industrial assembly machines.
- Experience with VOM with the ability to understand the results, troubleshoot components, (proximity switch, limit switch, PLC input/output level).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong mechanical skills, such as understanding Hydraulics and Pneumatics, not only theory, but real, hands-on experience.
- Basic machine shop practices, such as drilling holes with drill press, tapping holes, threading pipe, identifying pipe fittings, and how they are used (some water lines, mostly air lines).
- Ability to measure in inches, millimeters, with tape measures, scales, micrometers and calipers.
- Basic knowledge of milling machines and lathe operations is desirable.
