Valley Animal Medical Center Emergency Hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to complement the talented team at our AAHAaccredited 24hour emergency practice in Indio California.

Valley Animal Medical Center is a stateoftheart 10doctor emergency hospital that has been in the community for over 20 years and is continuing to grow and flourish. Our 10000 square foot facility boasts a team of approximately 65 support staff and doctors all dedicated to our mission Where Your Pets Health is our Top Priority and Excellent Service is our Goal. We have a collaborative team approach to medicine and are proud to be the premier provider of veterinary emergency services in the Coachella Valley. Our facility includes a CT Scanner continuous EKG monitoring Doppler BP ultrasound inhouse laboratory equipment including CBC chemistry coagulation testing endoscopy (gastroduodenoscopy colonoscopy bronchoscopy rhinoscopy and cystoscopy) laparoscopy tonometry digital radiography; electrocautery a full complement of soft tissue and orthopedic surgical equipment and much more! As the only small animal emergency clinic within 100 miles we have a unique caseload and opportunity to serve our community.

Requirements

In order to meet our growing community s needs we are looking for primary receiving emergency doctors as well as hospitalist with all shifts available. Choose your path! This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow be supported and work within a large emergency hospital. The schedule is a combination of day or night and swing shifts with rotating holiday and weekend schedules.

Compensation is negotiable based on education experience and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $64000 to $240000.
