- UT Health East Texas Physicians has over 90 primary and specialty care clinics, providing comprehensive medical education and innovative research. There are also residency programs throughout our hospitals and clinics actively training the medical leaders of the future.
Responsibilities
- Patient check in/out, appointment scheduling, scanning and filing documents, and insurance verification.
- Obtaining authorization, collecting payments and charge posting.
- Faxing medical records requests and scheduling patients for injections at the hospital
- This position has float responsibilities at our satellite locations in Palestine, Corsicana, & Kaufman (typically one location per week).
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience posting payments and charge entry
Preferred Job Requirements:
- 2 years' recent experience in a clinic or healthcare setting
