About Our Team
UT Health Athens is a 127-bed facility with various departments, including a Level IV trauma center, Level III stroke center, and radiation therapy center. We strive to provide exceptional patient service skills and participate in continuous quality improvement activities.
Responsibilities
As a Radiology Mammography Tech, you will perform all procedures relevant to breast imaging at three sites of service: the Breast Care Center, off-site screening mammography service, and mobile mammography van.
You will also participate in technical and program continuous quality improvement activities, ensuring exceptional patient service skills.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must possess:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology
- Two years of experience as a Radiologic technologist
- One year of experience as a mammography technologist
- Current AART certification and Texas Department of Health certification
- CPR certification
- (Mobile mammography experience preferred)
