Our Team
UT Health East Texas Physicians has over 90 primary and specialty care clinics, providing comprehensive medical education and innovative research. Our hospitals and clinics also host residency programs training the next generation of medical leaders.
Responsibilities
You will perform administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physician, including scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, coding, rooming patients, taking vital signs, recording medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current licensure as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant (AMT/AAH or ARMA)
- Preferred qualifications include six months' medical clinic experience and BLS certification within 30 days of hire
