Responsibilities
- LVN assumes the responsibility for the human and fiscal resources available in order to provide quality, cost-effective patient centered care.
- The Charge Nurse will possess and have the capabilities to perform all the major duties and critical tasks of a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- The Charge Nurse will demonstrate honesty, integrity, respectfulness, discretion, responsibility and dependability.
- Supports the mission and vision of the facility.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Must be Bilingual
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse program
- Current LVN/LPN licensure in the State of Texas
- Must possess and maintain current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a clinical/hospital setting
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a nursing leadership/management position
- At least 1 year LVN/LPN experience in a clinic environment
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Five (5) years LVN/LPN experience
- At least two (2) years LVN/LPN experience as a charge nurse or supervisor
