UT Health East Texas Physicians has over 90 primary and specialty care clinics, providing comprehensive medical education and innovative research. There are also residency programs throughout our hospitals and clinics actively training the medical leaders of the future.

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative duties under the direction of a physician, including scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.
  • Complete clinical tasks such as rooming patients, taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.

    • Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current licensure as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant preferred.
  • 6 months' medical clinic experience desired.
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire recommended.
