Your Role
We are seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to perform administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physician.
- Administrative duties: scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.
- Clinical duties: rooming patients, taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current licensure as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
- Preferred qualifications: 6 months' medical clinic experience and BLS certification within 30 days of hire
