- UT Health East Texas Physicians has over 90 primary and specialty care clinics, providing comprehensive medical education and innovative research. There are also residency programs throughout our hospitals and clinics actively training the medical leaders of the future.
Responsibilities
Patient check in/out, appointment scheduling, scanning and filing documents, and insurance
verification.
Obtaining authorization, collecting payments and charge posting.
Faxing medical records requests and scheduling patients for injections at the hospital.
Other duties as assigned
- This position will require periodic travel to some of our other nearby clinics (Tyler, Bullard, Chandler, Lindale) when needed.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Experience
- Experience posting payments and charge entry
- 2 years’ recent experience in a clinic or healthcare setting.
