Responsibilities
- Makes and schedules appointment for procedures and surgeries for patients in an efficient and timely manner.
- Verifies and pre-certifies insurance coverage for surgical procedures.
- Coordinates day surgeries within main surgery department. Maintain productivity logs for department director.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma required
Preferred Experience:
- 2 years’ recent experience in a clinic or healthcare setting
- Experience posting payments and charge entry
