Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EMT to join our team as a full-time ambulance technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing critical care to patients, and working collaboratively with other medical professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency calls and provide critical care to patients
- Work collaboratively with paramedics and other medical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
- Perform patient assessments, triage, packaging, and transport according to protocol
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and hazard-free environment during patient transport
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Texas DSHS certification as EMT
- Maintain all certifications required by the Medical Control Board and UT Health East Texas EMS Master Contract
- Current Texas motor vehicle operator's license
