- UT Health Jacksonville features 33 operational beds, an ICU, a 24-hour ED designated as a Level IV trauma center, a maternity unit, advanced diagnostic technology, surgical suites, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness and rehabilitation facility.
Responsibilities
The Monitor Technician is accountable and responsible for viewing the cardiac monitor for each patient, recognizing and reporting abnormal patterns. The continual monitoring of all patients on cardiac monitors and reporting all changes to the appropriate nurse.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Successful completion of a monitor technician program, within 6 months of hire.
