Key Responsibilities
- Performing laboratory tests and procedures, including blood counts, chemistry profiles, and microbiology cultures.
- Analyzing test results and providing accurate diagnoses to medical staff.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports, including quality control and quality assurance activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in medical technology or a related field. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) preferred. Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting highly desirable.
