Job Description
Under general supervision, responsible for building and testing clinical information system processes. Interacts professionally with leadership, faculty and staff and provides leadership and mentoring to more junior members of the application team.
Under little or no supervision, this position is responsible for Epic Cadence module(s). This position is for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, which means being able to change direction quickly, multitask, and demonstrate a passion and eagerness to learn new technologies. Epic Cadence will collaborate with and provide expert-level support to their counterparts from other applications to successfully meet the development and implementation objectives for assigned Epic applications. Effectively manages competing and changing priorities. Serves as project lead and mentor for key initiatives, including performing project management duties, as assigned. Develops, documents, and adheres to the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with related applications and systems. Interacts professionally with leadership, faculty, staff, and vendors.
Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree is required; however, equivalent years of experience may be substituted for degree.
Experience
Two (2) years related experience is required.
Licenses And Certifications
Certification in relevant clinical information system is required.

Responsibilities
- Performs evaluation and analysis to assist in problem-solving and submits recommendations for solutions.
- Serves as a liaison between the end-users and/or vendors to ensure appropriate system build, configuration, and functionality.
- Prepares detailed program specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts, and coordinates the system's installation with operations and/or vendors.
- Configures, maintains, monitors, and troubleshoots clinical information systems.
- Communicates changes and provides quality assurance checks to ensure standard practices are followed.
- Develops, documents, and adheres to the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with related applications and systems.
- Utilizes and fully understands the application to support operations, while providing in-depth support, troubleshooting and project management skills.
- Tests applications and components and contributes to test plan development.
- Works collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop operating standards, policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Documentation: Ability to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures.
- Self-Directed: Self-motivated and directed.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to resolve complex issues.
- Communication: Ability to clearly communicate ideas and solutions both written and verbally; deliver effective presentations; lead and train others.

- Front-loaded Paid Time Off: 128 to 208 hours (16 to 26 days) of Paid Time Off based on years of service, given at the start of each fiscal year. PTO may be prorated in year one based on date of hire.
- Extended Illness Bank: 8 hours (1 day) accrued per month which can be used for illness or injury after one day of Paid Time Off is taken.
- Paid Family Leave: Up to 240 hours (6 weeks) to care for a spouse, child, or parent after 6 months of consecutive employment.
