The Bunnik Lab is looking to hire a postdoctoral fellow to study malaria parasite biology.
Dr. Evelien Bunnik’s laboratory is located in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA). The goal of the Bunnik lab is to gain a better understanding of the regulation of gene expression in the human malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum using a combination of molecular biology, biochemistry, and genetics/genomics approaches.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in a relevant field with an excellent academic track record
- Research experience in parasitology and/or next-generation sequencing analysis would be highly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
