Job Description
Under limited supervision, responsible for writing and producing digital content across web, social, and mobile platforms to support UT Health San Antonio's mission. Collaborates with business subject matter experts and members of the web team throughout the development and digital content planning process.
Responsibilities
- Creates, updates and delivers web and social media content to targeted audiences including students, patients, clinicians, research collaborators, and educators. Supports successful social media outreach through multiple channels.
- Participates in discovery and research activities to translate business objectives into engaging digital web content.
- Collaborates with business subject matter experts and members of the web team throughout the site development and sustainment lifecycle.
- Utilizes analytics tools to continuously improve user experience. Uses analytics to translate a wide variety of quantitative and qualitative methods, including analytics, to create effective content.
- Manages editorial calendars and writes and edits content for digital projects for internal and external audiences.
- Responsible for providing quality assurance reviews to ensure standards and voice are consistent. Develops and maintains style guides.
- Performs research to further learn UT Health San Antonio business objectives and opportunities to improve digital presence.
- Provides education to others on techniques to develop content that will accelerate meeting objectives.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

UT Health San Antonio offers an excellent benefits package for its employees. Employees who work at least 20 hours a week, with an appointment of at least 4.5 months, are eligible for benefits.
Medical - UT SELECT Medical insurance is offered free for employees and administered by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas. Family members can be added to the plan through payroll deduction. Retirement - Employees are eligible for either the Teacher Retirement System (TRS) or the Optional Retirement Plan (ORP). TRS is a defined benefit retirement plan which UT Health matches employee contributions. ORP is for eligible faculty staff employees. Voluntary retirement programs are also available to invest before- or after-tax dollars with the choice of five quality retirement plan providers.
