Job Description:
This position is designed for highly skilled Physician Assistants to provide advanced medical care in a surgical setting. The successful candidate will work under the direction of a surgeon, conducting complex patient procedures and managing pre-operative and post-operative patients.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develops and implements treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Coordinates patient care with surgeons and other healthcare teams.
- Monitors treatment programs and reports pertinent information to attending physicians.
- Provides educational guidance to patients on preventive health care and postsurgical care.
Requirements:
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies, have current Texas licensure, and be certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. Proficiency in medical instruments and equipment is also essential.
