About Our Team
UT Health Tyler is a flagship hospital of the system with 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine.
We have a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians, and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities
You will work closely with patients, families, healthcare providers, and the clinic charge nurse to ensure patients leave with all necessary information and are well-supported during their recovery process.
Coordinate post-operative care and answer patient inquiries regarding surgery.
Evaluate patient progress and ensure timely discharge planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher required with current RN licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
At least two years prior clinical experience, preferably in a case management environment.
