TheSchool of Health Professions at UT Health San Antonio is seeking tofill one faculty position immediately to support a Master's degreeprogram in Speech-Language Pathology with medical concentration. Thisposition is a 12-month, tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant orAssociate Professor.
Responsibilitiesinclude teaching graduate-level courses of the area of expertise, directingstudent research, establishing or continuing a program of extramurally-fundedclinical research, and providing services to the department, college, andcommunity. Applicants must have a Doctorate in speech-language pathology,hold ASHA CCC-SLP and be eligible for speech-language pathology in Texas, and arecord of research and scholarship.
Preferencewill be given to individuals who have one or more medical specialties relatedto the adult population : head and neck cancer, dementia, dysphagia, voicedisorders, aphasia; an established record of peer-reviewed publications andresearch grant funding; prior experience in teaching at the collegelevel.
