The Center for Global and Community Oral Health Faculty position
The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, School Dentistry, is seeking an individual who is interested in a full-time position in a tenure track / tenured and non-tenure / clinical faculty of Assistant, Associate or Professor level to join the newly established Center for Global & Community Oral Health.
Candidates must have a Ph.D,, D.D.S. or D.P.H. degree in Oral Health, a strong publication record in global and / or community health, experience working in interdisciplinary professional environments, and an independent federally funded research program that will complement the center's activities. This individual will be expected to actively collaborate with existing faculty members, staff, and students at the Center / University, and be able to participate in multidisciplinary teams on programs for improving oral health in the community and / or globally.
The Individual will contribute to the mission of the School, and will participate in teaching, and clinical practice if applicable, and function as an active member of the School of Dentistry and The University of Texas Health Science Center. The successful candidate will enjoy access to several Centers, including an NCI-designated Mays / M.D Anderson Cancer Center, NIH -funded Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging, NIA-funded Alzheimer's Research Center, NCAT-funded CTSA, National Dental Practice-Based Research Network (PBRN), and recently established School of Public Health.
