What are the responsibilities and job description for the Monitor Technician (3 12-hour shifts Days) position at UT MEDICAL CENTER?
- Sets up, connects and monitors cardiac telemetry systems.
- Heart rhythm monitor surveillance for assigned patients
- Communicate unusual rhythm spikes to RNs
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED preferred; one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Entry-level candidates with strong work ethic will be considered.
- Previous telemetry experience preferred.
