The Department of Radiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a full-time Radiologist in the Abdominal Imaging Division, headed by Dr. Gaurav Khatri.

The Abdominal Imaging Division currently includes 19 faculty members, and sponsors an ACGME-accredited fellowship program in abdominal imaging. Divisional duties include interpreting the full range of abdominal examinations and providing consultation to referring physicians. Candidate is expected to be highly proficient in all diagnostic imaging modalities. Proficiency in image-guided procedures is preferred. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with residents, fellows, and medical students in one of the largest radiology training programs in the nation. Clinical services are provided at Parkland Hospital, and at Clements University Hospital and its affiliated clinics. Central reading rooms are located at two sites, with freestanding reading stations located throughout the hospital systems and capabilities for remote conferencing to allow participation in virtual resident read-out sessions, lectures, and multidisciplinary conferences. Flexible work schedules can be arranged.

Faculty members have dedicated academic time with many opportunities to develop research interests in collaboration with our strong basic science group, as well as other clinical and basic science departments throughout the campus. Specific clinical and research interests can be in any area within the scope of abdominal imaging, informatics, and artificial intelligence. Administrative, biostatistical and logistical support are provided. Robust collaborations with multiple imaging vendors enrich discovery opportunities.
