The Department of Radiology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Breast Imaging Radiologist to become an integral part of our Division of Breast Imaging. Your expertise will play a vital role in delivering high quality care and advancing our commitment to excellence.
The Division of Breast Imaging provides care to facilities throughout UT Southwestern and Parkland Health, including the Moody Breast Health Center and full-service breast care center at Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center, the only NCI-designated cancer center in North Texas and one of 56 NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the nation.
The successful candidate will play a key role in providing clinical care and contributing to the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows. The division sponsors a TMB-approved Breast Imaging fellowship program. Academic rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule.
Breast imaging Division and Facilities:
• 16 faculty members and three annual Texas Medical Board-accredited fellowship positions
• Opened Spring 2021: The multi-specialty Moody Breast Health Center on the Parkland Health and Hospital campus with state-of-the-art imaging equipment including a new breast MRI system
• Opened September 2022: The full-service UT Southwestern’s Center for Breast Care associated with the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center, one of just 56 National Cancer Institute-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the nation and the only NCI-designated canter center in North Texas
Research Collaboration:
• Opportunities to develop research interests in collaboration with our strong radiology and non-radiology based basic science and clinical teams across the campus

Candidate Requirements:
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree or foreign equivalent
• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging
• Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology with an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Texas
