What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gastroenterologist position at UT Southwestern Medical Center?
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases, is seeking a Gastroenterologist. Applicant must have an M.D degree or equivalent, from an approved LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency program and Gastroenterology fellowship from an ACGME accredited program. Candidate must be eligible for Texas medical license and be board certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology. Applicants just completing training and in the process of obtaining board certification in Gastroenterology are eligible as well. The position will play a major role in the expansion of our ambulatory and hospital-based University clinical practice and in the teaching and training of medical students, house staff, and fellows.
