What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructor position at UT Southwestern Medical Center?
INSTRUCTOR
- Conduct molecular and genetic studies aimed at understanding how abnormal lipid metabolism in adipocytes may lead to neurodegeneration;
- Designing and engineering DNA constructs;
- Construct animal models and cell lines;
- Perform neurological assays, analyzing and presenting experimental data;
- Writing scientific papers
* Specialized knowledge and skills in biochemistry, cell biology, metabolic physiology, and neurobiology;
* Must have a PhD and a minimum of 6 years of postdoctoral research experience
