What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Critical Care position at UT Southwestern Medical Center?
University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking outstanding individuals to join the faculty as part of a multidisciplinary Pediatric Intensive Care Division, providing care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at UT Southwestern and Children’s Health Dallas and Plano.
Clinical responsibilities will include ICU coverage at either the 44-bed multidisciplinary Pediatric Intensive Care Unit on the main campus, and/or the 12-bed satellite Pediatric ICU in Plano, Texas (expanding in 2025). The main campus high-volume ICU provides care to medical, trauma, and surgical patients. The satellite ICU provides care to medical, surgical and expanding trauma patients.
Applicants must be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
