What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retina Ophthalmologist position at UT Southwestern Medical Center?
The Department of Ophthalmology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is expanding and seeks an outstanding Retina Ophthalmologist to join our team. Requirements include an M.D. degree or equivalent, successful completion of an approved residency in ophthalmology, fellowship training in retina, eligibility for Texas licensure, board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Ophthalmology or the American Board of Ophthalmology. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule. The successful applicant will share in the clinical care of patients in our retina faculty practice, and in didactic and clinical training of residents and fellows. Interest in clinical or translational research, as well as an interest in comprehensive or subspecialty surgical ophthalmology, are welcomed but not required.
