The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking an outstanding scientist for the Pediatric Neurology Division at Children’s Health Dallas. The area of work is gene therapy for neurological diseases.

Applicants can expect an opportunity for a well-balanced career in teaching and research in pediatric neurology.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. with a strong interest and track record in research studying animal models of neurological disease, with additional experience with gene therapy.

This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.

Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishment and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule.
