Utah Addiction centers is a JACHO accredited mental health and chemical addiction residential treatment center in Eagle Mountain. We provide people the tools and support they need to live a fulfilling and sober life.
What we are looking for: (SHIFT DETAILS)
We need someone with the ability to work the two weekday night shift each week and one-weekend shift a month. Weekday starts at 6 pm and ends at 7 am. The weekend shift starts at 6 pm on Friday and will go through Sunday at 6 pm.
One of the most important things you will do will be to provide a "chillaxed" atmosphere where clients feel safe and comfortable. We want you to interact with clients. You will also have ample time to read books, watch movies, and do homework. You will sleep at the center during your shift. (Get paid to sleep!)
What you will do:
The primary responsibility for this position is to provide extended care during the evening and graveyard hours, and special occasions. You will support clients, document incidents, and handle any problems or emergencies as necessary. You will also administer proper medications as prescribed by the clients doctors.
- Must pass a Criminal Background Investigation (BCI),
- Become First Aid/CPR certified
- Provide basic services for residents and interaction with residents.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, and assist to maintain a professional quality of care environment,
- Supervise residents when full-time staff are not available
- Transport residents to appointments as needed
- Assist with needs of the facility as directed by supervising staff and clinicians
- Interact with and be available to all residents as a mentor or resource in need at all times
- Answer phones and take messages
- Assist counselors by providing inspection of belongings
- Maintaining a productive residential house schedule
- Contact all appropriate supervisors and emergency authorities in the event of an emergency
- Participate and assist in day-to-day programming and client needs
