This position provides comprehensive case management for Head Start families. Earn a competitive wage of $25.94/hour. We offer medical, dental, vision, life, accident insurance, 401K, short & long-term disability, up to $2,500 HSA match, employee assistance program, accrue up to 192 hours of PTO, 11 pay holidays plus the time off between Christmas and New Years paid, etc. Potential for FCDL student loan forgiveness after 120 eligible payments. Bachelor degree in social, human or family services required. Two years of related experience. Able to write and verbally communicate in English. Previous Head Start experience preferred. Bilingual preferred.

JOB SUMMARY
- Sensitivity to needs of families from various economic and ethnic backgrounds
- Manage time efficiently to ensure all deadlines, paperwork, assessment data and reports are completed accurately and promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management notes and document all follow up for children in assigned classrooms in a timely manner.
- Monitor health requirements and complete timely follow-up for assigned caseload by educating families and ensuring that all children are up-to-date on well-child exams and immunizations, and are current with other age appropriate preventive health, which includes medical, dental, nutrition and mental health and identifying a medical and dental home.
- Provide families with effective referrals in the community to meet their identified needs. Provide timely follow-up to ensure that the referral provided was accessed and appropriately met the needs of the family; gives additional or different resources as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the classroom teachers to ensure that classroom coverage, safety, and active supervision is maintained at all times.
- Provide parent engagement activities to implement the parent, family, and community engagement framework to facilitate building relationships with families and support family well-being by completing monthly parent meetings, workshops, parenting curriculum, etc.
- Assist in ensuring that the enrollment levels are maintained by conducting application intakes.
- Participates in community outreach and assists in recruitment strategies
Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday 7:45am-4:15pm
