Position Overview:
We are seeking a caring, detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Pre-Op Nurse / Surgical Coordinator . In this role, you will be an essential part of the patient experience, guiding individuals through the pre- and post-operative process with clarity, comfort, and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Review patient medical history, health conditions, and allergies to ensure surgical clearance and safety
Educate patients on pre- and post-operative instructions, medications, and recovery expectations
Answer patient questions and address concerns thoroughly, ensuring they feel prepared and informed
Identify and escalate any potential risks or red flags related to a patient’s medical background
Coordinate with surgical and clinical staff to maintain clear communication and seamless care transitions
Maintain accurate documentation in patient records
Support the overall patient experience with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Utah
Previous experience in plastic surgery, aesthetics, or pre-operative care is preferred but not required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Passion for patient care and commitment to safety and service
Schedule & Location:
3–4 days per week
2–3 days in Draper, 1 day in Layton
