Information Technology Manager
Utah First Credit Union is seeking a full time, 40-hours a week Information Technology Manager to lead the IT department and IT services at our Corporate Headquarters in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah in order to ensure the security, integrity, and reliability of customer information.
The Information Technology Manager must be a strategic, forward thinker with the ability to keep one eye on future IT industry trends and be willing to identify, embrace and prepare the organization for technological innovations to help the credit union successfully move forward. The successful Information Technology Manager candidate must have a high internal sense of urgency, be able to move at a high pace, and have the desire for continuous self-improvement as we are always looking for ways to get better. The candidate will be a pro-active, take-charge technology professional to lead, direct, motivate, and guide our information technology team.
The Information Technology Manager is responsible for the maintenance and support of all infrastructure and banking support systems which involves core systems, network infrastructure, and imaging. Additional responsibilities include end-user support and the installation, maintenance, and support of computers, servers, software, peripherals, telecommunications equipment, firewalls, network switches, routers, intrusion detection equipment, cabling, systems monitoring, printers, and backup and recovery.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER BENEFITS
$130,000 to $160,000 depending on experience. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, applied mathematics, or other related field. We are looking for a combination of training, certification, education, and experience equivalent to 4 years. Considerations will be made based on cumulative experience, training, and certifications.
Specialized experience and/or training in any of the following categories will be considered toward the four years of experience or training:
- Hosted services and Cloud-based infrastructure experience preferred
- Experience with Symitar, a division of Jack Henry (core system), preferred
- Network Administration (switches, routers, hubs)
- Firewall Administration (hardware or software based)
- Windows Server Administration
- Virtual Server Administration (VMWare)
- Desktop management software
- Information Security
- PC and Server Configuration Management
- Anti-Virus (deployment and administration)
- E-Mail Services
- Telecommunication Systems
- LAN/WAN
- Active Directory
- Backup and recovery / Continuity of operations
