The successful candidate will be responsible for managing laboratory operations, including test methodologies, verification of test procedures, and establishment of the laboratory's test performance characteristics. They will also be responsible for resolving technical problems, ensuring remedial actions are taken, and maintaining quality assurance programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage laboratory operations
- Verify test procedures and establish test performance characteristics
- Resolve technical problems and maintain quality assurance programs
- Maintain records for patients, quality controls, proficiency testing, and quality assurance
- Responsible for maintaining proper environmental controls and preventative maintenance of equipment
Requirements
- Associate's degree in medical technology, medical laboratory science or clinical laboratory science
- At least 4 years of laboratory experience in non-waived testing
- Managerial experience preferred
