Front of House Associate

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, provide menu information, and answer questions about ingredients, smoothie options, and dietary preferences.
• Food Preparation: Managing the daily operations of fueling station(s) including but not limited to: distribution and education of snack and hydration options, maintaining adequate inventory of products, creating and distributing individualized smoothie and recovery drinks, stocking fueling and hydration tables and fridges.
• Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by regularly wiping down counters, cleaning equipment, and ensuring all areas meet health and safety standards.
• Product Knowledge: Stay knowledgeable about menu items, supplementation, allergens and nutritional benefits of the ingredients. 
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations, efficient service, and a positive working environment.
• Inventory Management: Assist with monitoring stock levels, alerting management when supplies are running low, and helping with restocking items as needed.
• Dining Room Excellence: Receive and put away product in a timely manner, keep all food service areas abundant and clean - hot buffet, salad bar, coffee area, and fueling station.
• Limited food prep ie: cutting fruit and making peanut butter sandwiches
• Patient information protection: Respect player sensitive information and privacy, including HIPAA guidelines
• Protect the reputation of the company

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: Previous customer service or food service experience is preferred, but not required. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic, sense of urgency and professionalism. 
• Positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft and Google suite including but not limited to Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, Powerpoint/Slides and other softwares used by the Utah Hockey Club.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift light-to-moderate weight (e.g., boxes of ingredients or supplies up to 50 lbs).
• Physical Requirements: Ability to move around the store, prepare drinks, and interact with customers throughout shifts.
• Availability: Flexibility to work early morning, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Experience with college or pro athletes is a plus.
• Working towards a nutrition or related degree or certification.
• Valid food handlers card/permit

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.
• This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess.
• This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
• This person must be able to lift 20 lbs.
