Utah Partners for health is seeking a bilingual certified pharmacy technician to join our pharmacy team. The Pharmacy Technician will work as part of our pharmacy team assisting Pharmacists in medication processing, 340b and non 340b inventory, and dispensing to patients. Our pharmacy is open to all patrons and is focused on providing fast friendly service. As a pharmacy technician with UPFH you will work closely with our providers to give our patients the best whole medical home service that they deserve. This role also manages prior authorizations for our providers and maintains all medications prescribed for out-patient use and in-clinic administration, supporting our mission to provide patient-oriented, integrated care.
Requirements
This role is perfect for Utah-Licensed Pharmacy Technicians who:
- Are proactive, hardworking, and want a different role as a technician interacting directly with UPFH providers and staff.
- Assist in insurance prior authorizations to help remove barriers between patients and their prescriptions.
- Can utilize time management to assist in dispensing prescriptions, patient interactions, inventory management and prior authorizations.
- Flourish in a pharmacy team environment where they can contribute to a detailed focused, supportive work culture.
- Are capable and comfortable administering vaccinations is preferable.
