What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist position at Utah Spine & Accident Clinic?
Our thriving multi-disciplinary clinic is looking for a charismatic individual to join our evening staff. We are a family-friendly clinic offering chiropractic care, physical therapy, massage therapy, pelvic floor therapy, cognitive therapy, yoga, spa services, and many others. We believe total wellness requires feeling good on both the inside and outside.
Candidate must have experience in a medical setting, utilize basic math/English skills, and is detail-oriented, with a working knowledge of insurance benefits, deductibles, copays, etc. If you are friendly, confident, have a positive attitude, love greeting individuals with a friendly face, and are punctual with a high level of attendance, we want you! Bilingual speaker highly desired!
Main job duties are managing administrative tasks for the medical providers and interacting with patients. An average day will consist of the following:
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Checking patients in and out
- Reviewing intake forms with new patients
- Researching benefits
- Collecting payments
- Answering phones
- Sending reminder texts
- Completing preauthorizations
- Assisting new patients with paperwork (when necessary.)

Position hours:
Full-time shift (37 hrs):
Mon/Wed: 7:45 am - 7:00 pm
Thursday: 8:45 am - 7:00 pm
Saturdays: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Pay: $17/hr to start.
