SECOND JUDICIAL DISTRICT
DAVIS, MORGAN, & WEBER COUNTIES
The Utah State Courts is seeking an experienced official to serve as Court Commissioner for the Second District Court. This position, located within the Second Judicial District, is appointed by the Judicial Council. The Court Commissioner will assist the District Court with domestic hearings and other duties under the general direction of the District's Presiding Judge, as permitted by statute and rule(s) of the Judicial Council.
The successful candidate will adhere to the Code of Judicial Conduct and be a member of the Utah State Bar in good standing. Prospective candidates must be at least 25 years of age, a citizen of the United States, a resident of the State of Utah for three (3) years preceding appointment, and a resident of the State of Utah while serving as Commissioner. Candidates must reside in the Second District, which consists of Davis, Morgan, and Weber counties.
