Salary Range : $156,000 to $225,000
The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) Strategic and Military Space Division is seeking an experienced Senior Scientist to help the U.S. Department of Defense Special Capabilities Office solve some challenging problems involving novel uses of the electromagnetic spectrum. SDL will be partnering with government and other industry colleagues to design a tailored application within narrow mission constraints. This is not a "room to grow" position. Only the most highly qualified applicants will be considered.
This position's primary place of duty is in the Laser & Optics Research Center (LORC) at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado and other facilities in Colorado Springs.
