What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Representative position at Utah Surgical?
We are looking for a Temporary Full-Time Billing Representative for our highly skilled General Surgeons office in St. George, Utah. This position is open from May 2025 - October 2025.
Job Duties (include but are not limited to):
- Insurance prior authorizations
- Answer and return calls to patients and insurance companies
- Promptly and professionally assist patients
- Claims resolution
- A/R management
- Medical claims billing
- Collections
Prerequisites:
- Ability to adapt, multi-task and support co-workers to ensure a cohesive environment
- Phone and in-person etiquette
- Well organized individual
- Ability to make proactive autonomous decisions
Preferences (preferred but not required):
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Experience utilizing various software (ex: Excel, Word, Electronic Medical Records, etc)
Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 8:30AM - 5:00PM
Friday: 8:30AM - 12:00PM
