What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist - Part Time position at Utah Surgical?
We are looking for a Part-Time Receptionist for our highly skilled and fast-paced General Surgeons office in St. George, Utah.
Anticipated Hours:
Tuesdays & Thursdays 8:30am-5:00pm; PRN.
Prerequisites:
- Great communications skills and etiquette
- Well organized
- Ability to make proactive autonomous decisions
- Ability to adapt, multi-task and support co-workers to ensure a cohesive patient experience
- Experience utilizing various software (ex: Excel, Word, Electronic Medical Records, etc..)
Job duties (include but are not limited to):
- Answering phones promptly and professionally
- Schedule and prepare clinic appointments
- Greet patients as they come into the clinic
- Take payments over the phone and in office
- Communicate with other provider offices and hospitals
Preferences (preferred but not required):
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Previous experience working in a medical practice
