The Psychology Department at Utah Tech University in St. George, Utah, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Psychology, specialty area open. Responsibilities
This full-time, tenure-track position involves teaching responsibilities within the Psychology Department, including lower-division and upper-division courses. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to fulfill service and scholarship commensurate with the expectations of a faculty member at a regional comprehensive university like Utah Tech University.
The specific expectations for the successful candidate will be to :
- Teach 24 credit hours of courses each academic year, consisting of courses within the undergraduate psychology program. Course assignments will be made by the Department Chair, taking into account departmental needs and the expertise of faculty. Course assignments will include :

POSITION DETAILS, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS : Full-time (9-month) tenure-track faculty position. Faculty service begins August 2025, with pay and benefits starting July 1, 2025. Annual salary of $62,000 - $65,000 depending on qualifications and experience, with additional compensation available for optional summer / overload teaching.
