Medical practice performing in-office procedures. Looking for assistance with front-office duties, insurance pre-authorization, and limited medical assisting.
Responsibilities
Applicant should be comfortable with receiving and managing phone calls, scheduling and attending to patients, working through insurance pre-authorizations, and performing limited medical assisting. Procedures are performed in the office and this position requires care of instruments and following sterile procedures.
Qualifications
One year minimum, previous medical office experience preferred. An applicant should be able to work cohesively with a team, be comfortable with taking instruction, and confident in her or his ability to grow and develop. The ideal candidate should be professional, confident with personal interaction, reliable, honest, teachable, as well as capable of developing autonomy within the team. Basic knowledge of insurance requirements with experience in insurance pre-authorizations and billing is preferred. Applicants should be comfortable using computers and trouble-shooting occasional technical glitches which might arise within the office.
